Amnesty International’s Write for Rights 2014: Moses Akatugba ~ ‘Tortured, Beaten And Sentenced To Death’

Another letter sent on the 17th of December, 2014 asking the governor of Nigeria’s Delta State to commute Moses Akatugba’s death sentence. Moses Akatugba was sentenced to death and tortured as a way for the police in Nigeria’s Delta State to coerce Akatugba to sign pre-written confessions. Therefore, an independent investigation of the police in Nigeria’s Delta State is needed to end these horrific violations of Human Rights.
